NORTH 40 LLC is an independent film production company based in the Los Angeles, California area. It was formed as a limited liability company under the laws of California for the purpose of producing high quality feature-length motion pictures.
Writer-Producer-Director Jeffrey Frentzen previously owned and operated THE SHADOW FACTORY, a California corporation, which from 2004 through 2007 produced several feature films for Lionsgate Entertainment.NORTH 40’s initial production, HOUSE ON THE HILL (2014), has been in international release for seven years and is a popular title on Tubi and Amazon Prime.

North 40 LLC, using the business name “NORTH 40 FILMS,” has a track record of taking movie projects from development, to pre-production and production, through post-production and into successful distribution. The company also provides professional representation of name actors.
North 40 Films is increasing its output of feature films, including the romantic drama ONE PULSE; the western horror movie DEAD GULCH, written by Lee Taylor ("Bedbugs"); the body horror melodrama MADDIE; a film noir (NO LEFT TURN); and a science fiction thriller, OUT OF TIME, which is the company's first international co-production (U.S.-Australia).
